Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the use of this website and the provision of services by Opus AV Ltd (“Opus AV”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing this website, requesting a quote, confirming a booking, or paying any invoice, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Services

Opus AV provides professional audio visual services including, but not limited to:

Audio visual hire
Sound, lighting, and LED screen hire
Event production and technical management
Live streaming and broadcast services
Permanent and temporary AV installations

All services are subject to availability and confirmation in writing.

2. Quotations & Bookings

All quotations are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
A booking is not confirmed until a 20% non-refundable deposit has been received.
Opus AV reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking prior to confirmation.

3. Payments

A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings and equipment hires.
The deposit confirms the reservation of equipment, crew, and resources and removes the date from availability.
The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the event or hire date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of services, with all payments made remaining non-refundable.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

All deposits are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.
Clients may cancel a booking up to 90 days prior to the scheduled event or hire date by providing written notice.
Where cancellation is made 90 days or more before the event or hire date, no further charges will be due beyond the non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations made within 90 days of the event or hire date are not eligible for any refund, and Opus AV reserves the right to retain all monies paid and/or require payment of the full outstanding balance.
Opus AV does not issue refunds for cancelled services, unused equipment, partial use, early termination, or changes to event scope.

5. Postponements & Date Changes

Requests to postpone or amend dates are subject to availability and written approval by Opus AV.
All payments already made, including the deposit, remain non-refundable.
Opus AV is under no obligation to transfer payments to a new date.
Where reallocation of resources, crew, or equipment is not feasible, Opus AV reserves the right to treat postponements as cancellations in accordance with Section 4.

9. Force Majeure

Opus AV shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, power failures, or venue closures.
In such circumstances, all payments made remain non-refundable, as costs and resource commitments will already have been incurred.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, visuals, documentation, and media produced by Opus AV remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Website Use

Website content is provided for general information only.
Opus AV may update or remove content without notice.
Unauthorised use of website content is prohibited.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Acceptance

Payment of any invoice, acceptance of a quotation, or use of our services constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
